Pretty Prints and other Shinanagains

It's been a month, I should really give an update... to the um... like 3 people who read this... and I think like two of them are me. Been a busy month. Fixed a creepy teddybear that repeats what you say, figured out how to apply SVGs to my 3d prints, Have like 3 major designes for a cyberdeck in the fire, and I got the PCBs for PlonkScanV2, reflow soldered the parts and assembled them. There was obviously other random tinkerings... but nothing else of note.

PlonkScanV2

Plonkscan is my general purpose WiFi/BLE scanning tool, with a few offensive tools for testing in my lab. The hardware though is pretty agnostic as far as utility. V1 was a unbranded C6 a SD card reader and a ATGM336H GPS module. V2 dropped the GPS and switched to a Seeed Xiao C5 for both the battery charging circuit and the dual frequency WiFi. I did however forget to add a power switch, If you take teh EN pad to ground it will shut off the processor but keep the charging circuit online so you can charge while off. I'll add it in the next revision.

Reflow soldering was fun. I remembered to get the stencil so applying the solder paste was a breeze. The hotplate wast easy to use so everything just went smooth. PS2 I got everything assembled and now I have a nice little device.

PlonkDeck

I've been thinking of building a cyberdeck for a bit... Had a ESP32-P4 touch screen based one with a custom daughter board. it's based on a Waveshare display board. The thing had a bunch of radios and a custom keyboard, then I got a hair up my ass to try and design a Raspberry pi CM5 carrier board version. Ugh... I'm not there yet. I ended up settling on using an old Rpi 2b with a Waveshare 5" touch screen, a M5Stack CardKB, and a joystick with buttons for mouse. I ended up adding a little oled too with some leds for status.

And here it is at the moment.

It's got a bit to go, but I think it'll work well.
